At Sovereign Seed, we believe in giving everyone the power to take control of their digital freedom. Our project is built around a simple yet powerful idea: creating secure, personalized seed phrases that put you in charge of your own crypto journey.
This generator allows you to select 5 words of your choice from the official BIP39 list.in either English or French. Once your 5 words are chosen, the "Complete to 12 words" button will unlock, letting you generate a valid 12‑word seed phrase. Your seed phrase will be compatible with major blockchains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Solana, and Dogecoin.

* For security reasons, the Seed Phrase Generator does not work over HTTP. You can use it online via HTTPS, or download the free offline version to run it safely on your own device.

Your Seed Phrase: Safer Than the Universe Is Old
A standard 12‑word seed phrase from the BIP‑39 list represents over
5,444,517,870,735,015,415,413,993,718,908,291,383,296
possible combinations (that's more than 5 nonillions!).
Even if the world’s fastest supercomputer, El Capitan, could
test 1 billion combinations per second, it would
still take approximately 1.7 × 10²³ years — trillions
of times longer than the current age of the Universe.
In short:
your 12‑word seed phrase remains practically unbreakable, as long as you keep your words secret.
Why Sovereign Seed?
You’ve probably understood it by now:
The only real threat to your seed phrase is human — not
machine.
Either someone steals your 12 words, or the algorithm you trusted to
generate them was tampered with.
This is where Sovereign Seed comes in.
It lets you inject a part of yourself into the
generation process. By choosing 5 words yourself, you break
the default loop of trusting an unknown algorithm.
Instead of relying entirely on external code, you're embedding your intent — your will — into the core of your security.

Hi, my name is Olivier
I created the Sovereign Seed project as part of a knowledge and skills test for admission into the Holberton School software engineering program.If my test is validated, I plan to dedicate the next two years to an intensive training at Holberton School.This will give me the chance to learn more about a profession that truly inspires me, to deepen my skills, and above all, to experience what it means to work in startup mode, with a team.
